DESIGN ENGINEER

We are looking for a Design Engineer to join the Engineering and Research and Development Team for new products of an Italian manufacturing company with an international scope, being awarded the National Innovation Prize three times in a row thanks to its pillars: Innovation 4.0 and Quality.

Reporting to the Engineering Manager, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the implementation of innovation and product development projects, thanks to your experience in mechanical design activities and solid knowledge of technical drawing, CAD systems, Creo/E, PLM and Windchill, including:

• Perform feasibility analyses and related generation of assembly and part models and layout studies;

• Issue construction drawings, sketches and bills of materials (both of the product and the equipment to make it) within the Windchill database;

• Generate of technical specifications and operating instructions;

• Perform product industrialisation and producing construction drawings of components;

• Manage and maintain the archive of technical documentation (drawings, bill of materials, product catalogue, international standards).

Requirements:

• Previous experience of at least 5 years in structured companies of high-precision components,

• Excellent skills in manufacturing, managing bills of materials and machining cycles, tooling design,

• Teamwork, strong communication and problem solving skills.
