In 2005 Fluid-o-Tech is approached by a leading player in the automotive industry to develop a pump able to pressurize fluid used to reduce the emissions of Nitrogen Oxide in Diesel engines for passenger cars. It is a considerable challenge and will require a massive investment for the Company, but it will also boost its expertise, skill-set, and the approach to the design and development of new products, and with them, the Company’s reputation. In 2011, production starts and Fluid-o-Tech acquires new expertise and grows in the value it can deliver to its Customers.
Fluid-o-Tech acquires a stake in Cobraplast, a company operating in high-tech plastics for the automotive and medical industry.
Fluid-o-Tech Srl and Andreis Srl move to larger premises: still in Milan but in a significantly larger complex, the new headquarter has enough space to foster business growth.
Fluid-o-Tech japan is established. The Japanese market is very demanding and the only way to be successful is to have a local presence on the territory. Fluid-o-Tech opens its own distribution center in Tokyo: Fluid-o-Tech International Japan.
